Today marks the first day of informing neighbors of what’s going on in and around the city of Rocklin & Roseville. Our hope is that you get connected to the city you live in and take part of what’s happening in your community and surrounding areas. We are so excited to have you here!

Alpine Soon to Break Ground 🧗🏼 🧗🏽‍♀️ 🧗🏿‍♂️

Topgolf’s new neighbor will be none other than Alpine, it’s a gym catering to rock climbers and rock climbers to be. The project has been in the works for over 3 years now and they’re set to break ground pretty soon. If you’re excited about this make sure to follow them on their Instagram page to get updates as they break ground.

Platinum Wine Lounge Shuts Down 🍷

If you’re a wine connoisseur and frequent to Platinum Wine Lounge you probably know by now that they are closing effective immediately after choosing not to renew their lease for another 5 years. They detail their decision on their Instagram post. It’s always tough seeing a local business close, especially when it’s loved by the community.

More Homes Incoming to Rocklin? 🏠

Clover Valley in Rocklin is being preserved, but housing development is planned for the surrounding ridge tops. Tim Lewis Communities aims to build 78 homes on land at 3525 Park Drive, currently under review. Jessup University, which sold the land, still owns the valley and seeks its conservation. The property, purchased for $7 million, was initially planned for more homes. ($)

Do you fancy you some rocks? The Roseville Rock Rollers Gem and Mineral Society is having their 62nd annual event @The Grounds, Roebbelen Events Center this weekend, August 3rd & 4th. General admission is $10, parking is $10. Rock newbie to expert level geologists are all welcome. 60+ vendors, kids 12 and under are FREE, and there’s AC. National Night Out 🚔 🚁 👮 

Ever been around a helicopter landing before? Well, now’s your chance to be around one. National Night Out will be happening all around us on August 6th, but if you want to see the helicopter you have to be at Johnson Springview Park. It starts at 5 PM and ends at 8:30 PM.
