Oktoberfest
Oktoberfest started back in 1810 when Prince Ludwig of Bavaria threw a massive wedding bash, inviting the entire town of Munich. Instead of just cake and dancing, they had beer, horse races, and endless celebrations. The party was so epic that they decided to do it every year, and it only got better. Fast forward over 200 years, and what began as a royal wedding reception is now the world’s largest beer festival, complete with lederhosen, giant pretzels, and steins of beer big enough to require a workout. Don’t know where to partake in the celebration? We got you covered down below!
Roseville Chef to Appear on Hell’s Kitchen
Anthony Vo, the culinary mastermind behind Sonrisa Senior Living in Roseville, is making waves on the upcoming season of Fox’s "Hell’s Kitchen." Catch Anthony, one of the 18 brave contestants, as he spices up the competition with a touch of retirement community flair. Known for his skills in serving seniors, Anthony’s on a mission to prove that cooking for the golden years can be just as fiery as cooking for Gordon Ramsay. Tune in September 26 on Fox to see if this Roseville chef can handle the heat and show that even a retirement kitchen can dish out the drama! ($)

🎁 Trader Joe’s Mini Tote Giveaway 🎁
Well, we did it. We scored the infamous mini tote bag—yes, the one people were reselling for $100+ after the first release. Now we see them on Ebay for as much as $500, say what?! Will they ever come out again? Who knows. Should they make it permanent? Absolutely. Missed out? Don’t worry, we’re giving a few away for free! Roseville had a 4-per-person limit, and Rocklin? Only 2. Because apparently, we can’t be trusted with tiny totes. Don’t worry though, we’re not scalpers—that’s why we’re giving them away.
For our first round, the person who racks up the most referrals from today and October 4th wins one! Easy, right? Just share this newsletter with someone who’ll actually enjoy it (no, not your five alternate emails, we’re onto you).
Oh, and want another shot at winning? Follow us on Instagram! We’ll spill the details on how to enter over there on Monday. Stay tuned!

DID YOU KNOW❓️
Chainsaws were first invented for childbirth. It was developed in Scotland in the late 18th Century to help aid and speed up the process of symphysiotomy (widening the pubic cartilage) and removal of disease-laden bone during childbirth. It wasn’t until the start of the 20th Century that we started using chainsaws for woodchopping.
